Boreas Station is a permanent orbital station in Titan orbit, converted from the Pioneer Fleet vessel UNS Boreas — originally commanded by Mateus Costa and tasked with Titan/Enceladus operations following the Pathfinder Fleet’s Jovian mission. Under its ship-converts-to-station design, Boreas transitioned from an active vessel to a fixed orbital platform. By 2139 it hosted the Boreas Broadcasting Network (BBN) and served as a transit point, receiving the first organized arrival of Dominium Hominis pilgrims — 29 individuals seeking passage to Pluto. The 2165 Colonial Census recorded ~27,000 residents — the Saturnian system’s orbital hub. Station administration confirmed the group’s documentation was in order for their stay but clarified that arrival at Boreas did not constitute authorization for onward travel.
