Novaya Zarya Propulsion Cooperative — Mars-based propulsion engineering firm, founded 2117 at Chryse Basin by Yevgenia Orlova, Pytor Danko, and Amrita Ghosh. Developed a nested-shell magnetic bottle refinement of the Kuzmin Drive achieving 17–19% Isp gain, using only publicly released telemetry data required under the Interplanetary Shipping Disclosure Standard (2071). Sued by Roscosmos in March 2119 for alleged trade secret misappropriation and patent infringement; placed under preliminary injunction halting all operations. Dissolved in March 2121, seventeen months before the Roscosmos v. Novaya Zarya ruling vindicated its design.
