Yusuf Damir is co-host of Martian Radio’s long-running frontier and independent-exploration programme “Red Static,” broadcasting from Pobeda. Alongside co-host Katya Steshenko, he has covered outer-system exploration since at least 2101, including NASA’s overlooked Mars landing and the disappearance of independent explorer Salim Mwanaka in 2129. His commentary on the Mwanaka case was notably less measured than his co-host’s, observing that he had “stopped being surprised the UN’s only public answer is a travel advisory and not an investigation.”
