UNOLA spokesperson Amaru Villanueva-Osei declined to confirm the quote’s authenticity but did not dispute that a cognitive-systems research initiative was among Mare Frigoris’s planned activities.
Lineage and Architecture
The Sorokina et al. (2026) organoid-cognition research and the post-2031 Anthropic pivot toward substrate-independent cognitive architectures were both cited in the planning annex’s literature review as directly relevant prior art.
