Petra Stahl is the settlement agronomist at the Ganymede Farm Settlement, responsible for the colony’s first harvest in 2105 — the first food grown and eaten off a moon of Jupiter. She described the initial yield as intentionally conservative: “We didn’t plant for abundance this cycle. We planted to find out what breaks. Not much did.”
